ABOUT PETIT KOLIBRI
Petit Kolibri is minimal but meaningful, with a range of authentic, organic and natural clothing and accessories for babies and toddlers aged 0 to 8 years. Nature and Babies are the muses of inspiration for the brand, our aim is to transmit their pureness and softness. We provide ethical and safe clothing and accessories for children, as we believe the products children touch should be in their most pure and untreated state. The natural colors and minimal design are our signatures. Instead of printing, we manage textures and textile patterns with different weaving techniques.
Petit Kolibri sees that children are the population of tomorrow. The impact they will have on our planet is influenced by the principles we teach them today. When you choose our products you are not only purchasing a mindfully-crafted product, with high-quality design, but also supporting ethical trading and a long-term commitment to environmental sustainability.
Petit Kolibri is a brand made with love and attention to detail. We celebrate life, movement and we are passionate about our work.
ABOUT ETHICAL PRODUCTION
We believe every consumer decision we make has an impact on nature and society. Petit Kolibri was born to bring high-quality design products with organic materials and excellent craftsmanship without destroying the environment and making a contribution in every step.
All our organic baby alpaca handmade products are made in Peru by a women collective. Our goal is to empower women and help them develop their soft skills and their knitting skills to use them as a tool for doing business. It is important for us to give opportunities to highly-skilled women artisans from isolated communities of the Andes, who knit with some of the most appreciated soft fibers, in the high-end markets in the world.
The alpaca wool clothing is made in a family production company which has helped us to improve with their wisdom and experience. We make sure we maintain only mutually-beneficial and transparent relationships with our suppliers since we think it is the only way to do business
We ensure payment of a fair price, no child labor or forced labor, commitment to non-discrimination, gender equality and women’s economic empowerment, and good working conditions.
